PLAYBOOK Review

ree

Some girls get panties in the mail... but it's usually because they ordered them. And they're not used. Unfortunately for London, she's stuck receiving all of Brogan Six's fan mail and that includes any ... erm.. "items" his especially tenacious fans might send. Fortunately (for us readers), London isn't about to take this sitting down. She approaches Brogan while out and puts him in his place. Like any good boy would be, he's intrigued by this spitfire.

What comes next are fun little letters passed back and forth (butterflies and nostalgia anyone?). Fake dating because well, they both need to get pressure-people off their backs. And some good ole family drama.

In true Jenshak fashion, this plays out with twists and turns you don't expect. You fall for the goofy playboy who doesn't anticipate the girl of his dreams and yet, MAN does he go all in!

Look, I get it. We all loved Brogan's cool, fun demeanor in Tempting the Player (where we're introduced to the Holland brothers) and even more so in Burnout. But Rebecca shows us that the need to people please doesn't stick just to women. When you're whole life you've felt like the outsider, you'll do everything you can not to rock the boat. So yeah. I loved seeing this depicted in the shmexy pro-athlete.

I also loved getting some side time with our favorites from earlier books. And ARCHER! Oh Archer. I cannot wait for his story!

Overall: It's an incredible addition to this Valley World Rebecca's given us.

OVERALL RATING: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟/5
