First off, let me go ahead and acknowledge what an utter and total Flustercluck September ended up being! I know. It didn't escape my notice that I completely dropped the ball on being consistent in posting and sharing. So, that being said...
No. I still don't know exactly why it was that my brain but a dead stop on doing the things that make me happy for almost 3 weeks. But I'm here now and ready.
Thank GAWD too because October is shaping up to be one helluva month.
Starting off with this big, huge... GINORMAS thing I get to do right off the bat.

the Romance Hockey League presents
HOCKEY NIGHT in ROMANCE LAND!
I'll be joining this list an ALL STAR authors as we participate in a VIRTUAL BOOK SIGNING! I'm not 100% sure what that means as I've never done one of these... hell, I've never been an #attendingauthor at any event... ever! so this is going to be fun and scary and crazy. It feels like the best way to kick off the spookiest month of the year, if you ask me.
My time slot is scheduled for Friday, October 4th at 11 CST. (Shh... that info isn't public yet! You're the first to know!) Make sure you get that time zone right... don't want to miss out on this. Since you lovelies checked this out, I'll share a bit of insider info: Eden Knox is going live right before me and S.L. Sterling right after! These are huge authors with some incredible works, so I'll be sticking around to see what they're getting into myself. You will need to be a part of the Romance Hockey League Facebook group to get access to the event so don't hesitate to join over there.

Now... TECHNICALLY this isn't going live until November, but I wanted to share now with you something I've been sitting on for a year. Literally. A YEAR! I'm participating with nine other romance authors to bring you 10 shorts. All romance themed. All taking place in the months between November and January, though they won't all be "holiday" themed... just occurring in the big holiday months.
Below is the link that will take you to the official Naughty or Nice Promo page. There you'll see what's in store for you in Mid November. Oh... did I mention: they're FREE! That's right! These incredible authors are GIVING You their works for zero pennies.

I had planned to announce that Trading Tinsel would be available to audiobook listeners this month. Unfortunately, that particular project fell through. I was able to take those lemons and make margaritas from them though!! Because the previous narrator was unable to complete the project, I was able to find Amber Goode... an incredibly talented, hilarious, and stunning narrator! Seriously. If you don't know what it's like to follow a narrator, then this is someone you'll want to start with. Her work is 👩🏼🍳😘🤌🏼🤌🏼. While no one likes having setbacks, I can honestly say that this experience led me to find the right fit for Nick and Eve. They're story will be out in ... November? Hopefully? There are a lot of Behind the Scene things, wheels and whatnots that have to happen, but Amber and I are ACTIVELY working to bring this story to you BEFORE the gift-giving holidays.

October is a HUGE Month for Bryan and Olivia. Which is why I have a few surprises in store for them... and you this month. Be on the lookout over on my IG page for more information.
Personally?
Well, personally, this is the month when my life gets chaotic and doesn't slow down. Luckily, I think maybe, possibly, hopefully 🤞🏼my husband will have a bit of a slow down on work obligations because the kiddos are only RAMPING UP in their school and athletics. We have one day where we're splitting shifts--one parent with one kid, the other with Kiddo DOS, and then a family dinner for my SIL's 21st birthday. Add in the 5K that I run every year to support a local Fine Arts Center in our small town at some point, two Fall Fests, and school pictures... I'd say it's bonkers, but we'll go with "well rounded." This month is Well Rounded! lol
I promise to do better this month about being active on Social Media again. It brings me the biggest surge of endorphins when I see my friends talking about books, not even necessarily my books--although that's still kinda cool. If you see me on IG, FB, or Threads (the only places I'm active), then pop up and say Hey! I know I closed my ARC Team for now, but with everything else I have going on (audiobooks in progress, an "anthology" project, plus writing my next book) I just need to focus on those right now. It'll be open again before I release my next book.
